Where the events come from
A job on this server reads the groups’ announcements on LessWrong, the EA Forum, Meetup, Luma, Philosophia’s calendar and a couple of pages, once an hour, merges the ones that were posted in several places, and writes these pages. Nothing here is a copy kept by hand. This page was written at 2 Nov 2026, 04:00 and will be written again within the hour.
It is plain HTML and one stylesheet, with no script. The pages work with JavaScript off and in a text browser, and loading one never waits on another site.
What is here
- This page: what is on, the six groups, and the further Munich groups whose events are in the calendar but off by default.
- A calendar: this month and next as week grids, then every announced event as a list, with a switch per group.
- A page per event, with the organiser’s announcement and an .ics download.
- Every past event, where you can say how many came, and what the numbers look like over the years.
- A feed per combination of groups, for your own calendar app.
What is not here yet
- Organisers’ approval of how their groups are described. Every line of that was written for the previous version of this site, but nobody from the groups has been asked to check it.
